Game 5: 5/7/09

What looked to be a great pitching matchup in young hardthrowing righties Rick Porcello and Gavin Floyd turned into a blowout. The Tigers won 15-1 after knocking Floyd around for a career high 12 Earned Runs in 3 innings. Porcello followed the script, going 6 strong with 2 hits and 13 strikeouts. S. Podsednik saved Floyd's ERA (oh wait) with a monster catch from Granderson's shot to straight away center. Tigers 3/4 hitters, M. Cabrera and P. Sandoval, combined for 8 RBIs. Detroit leaves the series 16-13 and Chicago leaves 15-14. Ozzie didn't seem too pleased.
